Winners and Pictures!

Another year in the books! The 28th Annual ChalkArtWalk NEW DATE was a success, and the community voted on next year's t-shirt! Your 29th Annual ChalkArtWalk t-shirt winner is Brandon Gibson! You can find his art ( #6) right in front of The United Building, located on N Market St in Hillyard!

In the pictures, you will see all the other winners with the square number, so you can go walk the ChalkArtWalk walk and see all the amazing art! Don't forget to stop by the derailer inside the United Building for a GREAT Matcha, and to tell Brandon how amazing his art is!!

All winners have been contacted, so if you see your name, please feel free to reach out if you haven't had a chance to speak with one of us on the ChalkArtWalk committee!

ChalkArtWalk POSTPONED

Hi everyone, given the projected air quality, hot temperatures, and other ongoing effects of the Spokane Complex wildfires, we have chosen to postpone this year's ChalkArtWalk event.

We are finalizing some logistics and will announce the new date soon, so keep an eye out for that!

We believe art matters and brings people together. If you want to be in community and get creative, here are some alternative creative activities you can join on Saturday (8/8):

1. Coffee and Crafts at Derailer Coffee (5016 N Market) 9am-12pm; supplies provided for stamp making, junk journaling and oil pastel drawing. All ages welcome, no purchase necessary

2. Carboard Picasso workshop at Mixed Pallet (5021 N Market) from 1-3pm. Cost is $30 and all supplies are provided

3. Drop by Market Street Treasures (5317 N Market) to paint a rock!

4. Visit the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture for Museum Day 10am-5pm - free entry!

Drop other creative opportunities in the comments. Take care of yourselves and one another
