🎣 YFL IS STILL HERE! 🎣
Hello everyone! I know it’s been a little quiet lately — life got busy, but we are still here! 😎
Starting YFL happened FAST, and there was honestly a lot more to learn than we ever expected — booking venues, food trucks, vendors, permits, insurance, scheduling, and everything else that goes into putting on fishing events.
We started in April and had our first tournament in May, so we were basically learning as we went! 😂
One of the biggest challenges we ran into was availability. A lot of venues, food trucks, and vendors book their calendars months in advance, often over the winter, which made it tough to secure everything we wanted for our first season.
But now we know something important:
THE YFL CONCEPT WORKS. 🎣🔥
We’ve learned a TON from our first season, and we’re going to use this winter to get ahead of the game.
Our plan is to spend the entire winter putting together an awesome 2027 season schedule, securing venues, vendors, sponsors and everything else we need so we can come out of the gate ready to go in the spring.
We’re looking forward to bringing you some of the best youth fishing tournaments around! 🏆🎣
Stay tuned… Spring 2027 is already in the works!
