God placed a vision on our hearts to celebrate Juneteenth in a way that honored our history, our resilience, and our community. What started with just a couple young people stepping out on faith grew into exactly what He ordained it to be.
From folding tables and big dreams to a full celebration of freedom, culture, and unity; we built something special together. We didn’t just host an event… we created a space. A space where our voices were proud, our music played loud, our vendors thrived, our kids ran free, our elders were honored, and our stories were centered. A space where Black excellence, Black joy, and Black legacy were on full display.
Year after year we saw the culture show up. The line dances. The laughter. The red, black, and green. The smell of good food in the air. The sound of laughter. The hugs that felt like family reunions. It was more than a celebration, it was a reminder of who we are.
None of it would have been possible without this community. Thank you for believing in the vision. Thank you for volunteering, vending, sponsoring, sharing, and simply showing up. Thank you for helping us build something rooted in purpose and pride.
This year, we will not be sponsoring the Juneteenth Freedom Celebration. However, our support for the mission has not changed. If any individual or organization feels led to pick up the torch, we stand ready to support, guide, and uplift in any way we can. The movement is bigger than any one team.
We love our community deeply and will always pour into it. This season, we are choosing rest. Time to reflect. Time to realign. Time to refill our own cups — knowing that rest is also revolutionary.
The culture continues. The legacy continues. The vision continues.
And we are forever grateful to have been a part of it. ❤️🖤💚
