CK Film & Entertainment

CK Film & Entertainment was founded in 2024 by Chris Hooten and Kenny Scott Guffey with a focus on creating strong ensemble film projects. The studio has advertised in Times Square, and their work has been featured in the pages of the iconic Billboard Magazine, Vintage Rock Magazine, Yahoo News, and Ryan Jay Reviews. Most recently CK included Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Damon Johnson in their project, Rick Nelson’s Encore, currently in Post Production.

Film critic Ryan Jay, one of America's most popular, nationally syndicated film critics, selected Rick Nelson: Guntersville as the film viewers should watch between that film and The Testament of Ann Lee starring Amanda Seyfried. 'Guntersville' also won Best Feature at WILDsound Film Festival in 2025. The dramatic-action film, 77, was produced by Goodfellas' Christopher Serrone, and saw an August debut on Prime Video. CK has most recently wrapped production on a CK Satellite project, Soft Serve, and are currently shooting a rock/slasher horror film, Festevil.

Past projects have collaborated with Allen Danziger of Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame, CJ Graham (Jason Voorhees, Friday the 13th Part 6), Julie Dawn Cole (W***y Wonka and the Chocolate Factory), Sandy Johnson (John Carpenter's Halloween), prolific-directors Darren Stein and Ron Oliver, and many others!

Ghost Night Spookshow

Jonathan Brinson builds custom life-sized monster prop characters for an ever-growing Halloween display and passion project called Ghost Night Spookshow.

The props are cobbled together in a Frankenstein-like manner using mass-produced Halloween masks, PVC pipe, chicken wire, and a ridiculous amount of duct tape. Through the years, the Spookshow’s roster has swelled with creatures of all shapes and sizes, including witches, zombies, and vampires. Inspired by classic Horror comics like “Tales from the Crypt” and movies such as “Creepshow,” Brinson has even developed interconnected backstories for each of his monster characters.

The Spookshow began as a humble yard display, but it quickly grew in scale, culminating in huge annual displays at the historic Carnegie building in downtown Somerset. At the Carnegie, hundreds of guests were delighted with immersive trick-or-treating experiences, complete with dynamic lighting, sound effects, and haunting projection illusions. Through a partnership with the International Paranormal Museum, Brinson was given the opportunity to put together an ongoing indoor exhibit. Visitors were welcomed to enjoy the “sights, sounds, and smells (?) of Halloween year-round.” This iteration of the Spookshow was in continuous operation until the closure of the historic Carnegie building to the public.

Most recently, the Spookshow’s monsters were featured in a food drive scavenger hunt event in cooperation with the Somerset/Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce and a host of local businesses. “Monster Hunter” challenges participants to locate monsters displayed around Somerset and make donations to the local food bank for entries to win a grand prize. The second event will begin this October and Brinson hopes his monsters will once again do some good for the community.

The Spookshow has provided decor for Cumberland Con since the event's debut and some of its creepy creatures will once again be lurking the convention for some frightful photo opportunities. Spooky stickers and posters designed by Brinson featuring his menagerie of monsters and more will be offered at the Spookshow's booth, along with other Halloween and Horror-themed paraphernalia.

Jobie Bradley Art

Jobie Bradley is an artist who lives in a constant state of nostalgia for everything ’90s. Since beginning his art career in the summer of 2022, Jobie has already made some big waves in the Lake Cumberland creative community and beyond!

Through prints, custom artwork, logos, and brand identities, Jobie has built a growing body of work that has reached clients both locally and nationally, including Cumberland Con!

Outside of Cumberland Con, Jobie stays active throughout the community by participating in local festivals and teaching a weekly art class through The Jobie Bradley Art Illustration Academy.

Most recently, Jobie was honored as the 2026 Watershed Alliance Artist of the Year, an incredible recognition of the impact he continues to make through his art and involvement in our local creative community.

International Paranormal Museum and Research Center

Founded in 2017, the International Paranormal Museum stands as a beacon for all things strange and unusual. Created by Kyle Kadel, the museum has hosted over 22,000 explorers from all over the country and globe. The museum is home to over 1,000 artifacts covering Spirits, cryptids, paranormal phenomena, aliens, and all matter of high strangeness. The museum was founded and able to grow in the basement of the historic Carnegie Community Arts Center, in the heart of Pulaski County. Unfortunately the museum was forced to shutter its doors on November 16th, 2024, when the building went up for sale. But fear not! For the museum does not sleep; but slowly waits, and watches, for its time. Slated for 2027, the Museum shall return to downtown Somerset once more!
