Silverton St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the San Juan Mountains-small town spirit & a whole lot of Irish cheer!

Thanks to all of our local Silverton musicians who put together a wonderful selection of Irish music to entertain us!

The inaugural Silverton St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans was a huge success! The Chamber of Commerce, San Juan Development, The Coffee Bear, The Grand Imperial, Silverton Library and Dera Deli were vital in getting the process started. Then so many other locals joined in to help create a wonderful community celebration - Kat Ochabova’s beautiful poster advertisements, local musicians who came together to learn Irish music to entertain us at The Den, fearless females who learned how to Irish dance, hats created by Woo Girls and donated as prizes, tasty meat pies made by Sophie Blue and Marshall Rodriguez, middle and high school students who helped with the kids crafts at Coffee Bear, Danny Castle and his fantastic float that provided festive tunes during the parade and the volunteer fire department who made the tiniest, wee St. Patrick’s Day parade in the world happen! Thank you to everyone who was involved and thank you to the Silverton community for coming out and supporting the event. We’re already looking forward to March 17th, 2027! 📹
