Shout-out to 28 volunteers who came out to the fairgrounds today to help paint the rough stock and cattle pens north of the grandstands!

With 11 gallons of paint, painting mitts, brushes, and rollers in hand, the crew got after it—transforming those old, rusted pipe corrals into a clean, fresh white. The difference a coat of paint makes is incredible!

We’re proud to have had such a strong turnout representing the Wranglers 4-H Club, Dryland Toughies 4-H Club, independent 4-Hers, volunteers needing community service hours, and even the Sidney Sun-Telegraph.

A big thank-you as well to the 10 fair board members who pitched in—removing the rodeo rough stock derigging chute for much-needed repairs, installing grip tape on the grandstand stairs for better visibility, and jumping in to help with painting too.

This kind of teamwork is what keeps our fairgrounds looking great!

We would also like to thank the Cheyenne County Building and Grounds crew for all of the hard working hours they put in to keep the fairgrounds looking beautiful, not only for fair, but for all of the other events that take place on the grounds as well.
