BTS: A/C Replacement
Everybody sees the pretty setups, the candles glowing, the luxury tablescapes, the champagne pours and the packed event, but nobody talks about this part of business ownership.
Sitting in my venue while the HVAC company replaces the entire air conditioning unit because if the air goes out, the events stop too. š

This is the side of entrepreneurship people donāt post enough:
āļø Unexpected expenses
āļø Maintenance bills
āļø Emergency repairs
āļø Constant reinvestment back into the business
And then people get upset when prices increaseā¦
ā¦but how do you think we recoup these costs?
The same venue you want ice cold in July.
The same clean bathrooms.
The same beautiful experience.
The same functioning space you expect when you walk in the door.
None of that maintains itself.
Thereās nothing glamorous about writing checks for things nobody will ever noticeā¦
until they stop working.
Real ownership is responsibility.
Real ownership is sacrifice.
Real ownership is figuring it out in real time while still showing up professionally for your clients.
So yesā¦support small businesses.
And understand that pricing is often survival, not greed.
Still grateful though.
Because even on the hard days, this dream belongs to ME. š©·
