Well the second annual Orchard Run was pretty near perfect. The weather cooperated, the views were spectacular, the participants came from very near and very far and were mighty and friendly - and Cutest Walkers Of All Time award goes to this foursome! Thank you to all who came out and ran/walked and all who came and cheered and all our terrific sponsors - it was a great event.

There is still time to sign up for the run! Online registration will be available until Saturday evening. After that, come see us at the start line. We'll be there by 9:30 for t-shirt and bib pick-up and any last minute registrations. The weather is looking perfect and the fall colors are definitely here!

Hey all you walkers and runners - just a gentle reminder that while you can sign up for the race until the night before (or even on the day - but it will be $5 more that morning) - the only way to guarantee yourself a t-shirt in your chosen size is to get signed up before September 1st. Which will be here before we know it! Hope we see you there!

The Orchard Run at Apple Fest is two months away! I've added an event page but wanted to let everyone know that now is the time to start registering. We have two ways to register this year: Online and paying by credit card or by filling out an online form and mailing in/dropping off your registration fee to the library. Details will be added to the event page.

We had too much fun last year not to do it again! The Orchard Run at Apple Fest will be held on Sunday September 22nd! (Yes, a week later. Yes, we are hoping this will mean it's not 92 degrees. Fingers crossed.) More details in the coming months.
