Athletes!

We can't thank you all enough for hanging on through the rain yesterday and participating in our games. The rain dissipated and we ended up having smooth sailing and some great scores. We appreciate you choosing to spend your day with us. Another memorable one in the books! We hope to see you all back again in 2027, pencil us in for May 15, 2027!

With that said, scores are entered into Heavy Athlete and Scottish Scores. Links are below. We will post to NASGA as well and will let you know when this is complete.

Good morning highlanders!

We are in close contact with the Shelbyville Emergency Management Team regarding tomorrow's weather. Currently, there is no threat of severe storms. However, we will likely see rain or even some scattered thunderstorms. Here is what we know right now.

At this point the games and festival will begin on time. Athletes will throw in mild to moderate rainfall. In the event of lightning or strong winds we may experience a delay and resume once the storms end.

If we cancel the event early due to weather, we will post to social media as soon as we make the determination.

PLEASE, PLEASE be sure you come prepared. If you bring a tent or canopy have weights and tie downs. DO NOT count on having someone to hold them down when the breeze picks up.

We will update you with any new information.

We are so excited for the day to finally be here, hopefully a little rain doesn't slow us down!

Athletes!

We are excited to announce that our friends to the south from the Columbus Scottish Festival will have a booth set-up this weekend on clan row.

They are offering our athletes a discounted games registration if you stop by and say Hi! Their Highland Games athletic event will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, during their two day festival.

The Columbus Scottish Festival is one of the longest running Scottish festivals in the midwest and it's always a wonderful fall weekend event! So plan to sign-up and get this games on your throwing calendar!
