Usually at galleries and museum, we need to keep our distance from the art and definitely cannot touch it. But, with the King Street Gallery's exhibit of Please Touch: Together, Breaking Barriers we are encouraged to touch the art and enjoy a tactile art experience. The exhibit is up until the first week of January, provides art access for blind, low vision and sighted persons by providing awareness and accessibility.

Clean up the Park! Othello Park Alliance and Neighborhood Clean up friends are coming the day before the Othello fest, on Saturday, Aug 10 for a morning clean up. I've done their clean ups and can tell you this is a fantastic group to meet, hang with, and show our love to Othello Park. 9am-12noon. They bring all the supplies and snacks!
