FOCUS, a rock-n-roll touring show combines the talents of actors, musicians and dancers based on true stories from Veterans who lived and served in the 1960’s.

About FOCUS, the rock musical:
From the creators and writers of Opera That Rocks, LLC comes an upbeat musical set in the Vietnam era of the 1960’s. It is a story about the ups and downs, the twists and turns of a culture torn and transformed, as seen through the lense of a young photographer, Sheri Kennerly. Experience how she captures the music, the relationships, and the conflicts of the California scene, and how these take her all the way to Saigon, Vietnam.

Special Veteran's Day matinee event at Fair Haven!

The FOCUS musical experience is coming to Belfast, ME. It is a touring rock show featuring the music and dramatic presentation of the musical, FOCUS.

Come and experience narrator, Nic Blazer as she leads you through the heavy and illustrious events of the late 1960s in America, as seen through the lens of young, up and coming photographer, Sheri Kennerly.

On Veteran's Day, November 11th, 2021, 1:30pm at Fair Haven Camps in Brooks, ME and 7pm at the American Legion on Church Street in Belfast, ME, you will rock out with the show's heroes, The Melodics, one of the countries' most important rock and roll groups. They were and are, "THE NEXT BIG THING". Tickets are $15 at the door.

The Focus experience was born in 2019 after a series of interviews with veterans and the family members of those who have given their lives for our country. It IS a Veteran's Memorial.

Support for the original FOCUS music and recordings include Carl Verheyen, world renowned guitarist (of SuperTramp, etc.), John Mader of Hamilton, Jim Cox of Hairspray, and Dave Marotta of American Idol.

Now that our show is only FOUR DAYS AWAY let’s introduce you to some of our cast members!! INTRODUCING CAT ZEL PLAYING KAT CARPENTER!!
Third generation musician singer, Kat Zel has been studying and living in Edmonton the past eight years.
Passionate about the vibrant music scene in western Canada, Kat found herself the lead singer & song writer fronting the band Rareflower. During 2019, Kat continued to pursue her Indie career path while recording, songwriting, cowriting and gigging on a regular basis.
November 2019 Kat performed for the Canadian Country Music Awards, in Calgary at King Eddy’s. She spent her summers playing festivals up and down Alberta taking memories back to Edmonton.
As a hard working, multiple year nominee for the Edmonton Music Awards, Kat “has been delivering music for the masses with groovy beats, hooky songs, relatable lyrics and great musicianship. Her vocals are raw and edgy. She’s one to watch - that’s for sure.”, Rhea March of C.J.S.R. radio.
Kat was part of the original cast playing Kat Carpenter the “frontman” of the band the melodics. She is looking forward to be continuing the run of the show!!
