From community concerts of the tri cities:
When William Pint and Felicia Dale join with Tania Opland & Mike Freeman, the result is musical magic! This is not your typical holiday concert. "Typical" holiday concerts don't include hurdy gurdies, for one thing. Seriously -- PLURAL hurdy gurdies.
For more than a decade, it has been a Three Rivers Folklife tradition every other year to have a holiday concert with two of our favorite couples in early December. Tania Opland and Mike Freeman and William Pint and Felicia Dale are back again to celebrate the season of winter and all its diverse festivities in a joint Winter's Return concert on Saturday, December 2nd,7:30 pm in the sanctuary of All Saints ‘Episcopal Church, 1322 Kimball Avenue Richland. Please enter through the doors in the basement near the parking lot in the rear of the church. Admissions $20 for non-members and $15 for3RFS members, and tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance on-line at https://3rfs.org/concert.htm.
In this special Winter's Return concert, two world touring duos, who have both been Tumbleweed headliners in the past, join forces to bring a celebration of winter and the holiday season to the stage. This year they are especially thrilled to be re-united to do a "live-in-person-all-in-one-place" concert, after several years of doing pre-recorded and live streamed concerts on-line from studios 1,500 miles apart! Tania Opland Mike Freeman are Anglo/Alaskan acoustic music duo who collect music from around the world, which they convey with wit and verve. Pint and Dale usually play and sing music of the sea and about sea-faring folk, with consummate skill and high energy.

In a detour from their usual fare, these remarkable pairs form a power-house quartet that makes music from across the ages and around the world like no one else. Collectively they bring a huge assortment of instruments to the stage: drums, whistles, flutes, ocarina, hammered dulcimer, hurdy gurdies, mandolins and violins, citterns and bouzouki, and several guitars. Their eclectic repertoire of traditional and unusual seasonal songs will bring a bright light to the darkest winter night. What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season! Give yourself the gift of a memorable Winter's Return Concert. Happy holidays!
