Scio Street Fair is the street fair in Scio, Ohio, going strong since 1934! It is held on Main Street in the center of town, one of the small towns in Harrison County, Ohio, with one of the largest parades in the State of Ohio!

Entries are now being accepted for the Scio Summer Fest Royalty Contest. Categories include Jr. Prince Ages 0-5 years old, Jr. Princess Ages 0-5 years old, Princess Ages 6-12 years old, Queen Ages 13-18 years old, Granny Queen Grandma's 50 years and older. All contestants receive 50 percent of ticket sales. For more information contact Cris Edwards ( 330 ) 244-6029. Crowning will be Saturday evening after the parade. Scio Summer Fest August 20-22.

Scio Summer Fest Parade Saturday August 22nd 6 pm sharp. Join us for the largest parade in Harrison County. Fire Equipment, Floats, Antique Cars & Farm Tractors, ATV.s Utv's Golf Carts, Royalty, and a large assortment of entries. We hope to have a colorful Parade of Red, White, & Blue as we celebrate America. 250 Parade Theme: " A Man and his Camera Remembering Mr. E. D. Shumaker " The Harrison Central Husky Marching Band, The Conotton Valley Rocket Marching Band and the Jewett- Scio Viking Alumni Marching Band will be joining us. No preregistration is required just show up. The Parade is open to anybody and everybody, so join us for this festive event. Parade will line up on the south side of town utilizing West College St, The Scio Pottery parking lot and the Scio American Legion parking lot. Scio Summer Fest August 20-22. Scio Car Show Sunday August 23rd.

We have brought back the Granny Queen Contest for Grandmothers 50 and over. Same as the Queen Contest all contestants receive fifty percent of ticket sales. 41st Annual " Scio Scramble " Thursday August 20th. Kids Fun Run/Family Walk 6:15 pm, 5-K Run/Walk 7 pm. Join us for one of the oldest road races in the Valley. All part of the Scio Summer Fest. An annual event since 1934.
