Bodybuilding since he was 11 years old, you could say that Shivansh Tyagi was more than just a precocious lifter.
He says his fitness journey began at 11 when he saw a boy with a six-pack for the first time. Shivansh explains, "I asked him how he got them. 'By exercising,' he returned and that changed my life forever. I started doing pull-ups on my house gate, push-ups, running, yoga, and bodyweight squats. I had no gym, equipment, diet plan, or bodybuilding knowledge - just a dream to build a different version of myself. Little did I know that this simple beginning would become my life's passion."
At 15, I discovered gyms but couldn't travel to the nearest one, so my friends and I trained with a barbell, bench, and weight plates and eventually I opened my own on the lower level of my home building. And at 18, I had built a physique I was proud of and competed in my first bodybuilding competition and placed 5th among enhanced bodies."
"Today, I look back on 15 years of dedication to yoga, running, weight training, and natural bodybuilding. Following a vegetarian lifestyle, I learned through experience, mistakes, and consistency. My journey wasn't always easy, but I never stopped exercising."
"For me, bodybuilding is more than muscles, abs, or trophies. It's about discipline, patience, confidence, and keeping a promise I made to myself at 11. My story taught me that you don't need perfect conditions, expensive equipment, or everyone's support to begin. You just need a reason to start and the courage to continue when others stop."
"I started with a house gate, a few push-ups, and a dream. Fifteen years later, I'm still chasing it—one workout at a time. And my story is far from over."
Shivansh takes the next step and will bring his home grown, natural physique and dream to the Musclemania® Capital stage on December 12-13.
