VIP Spirits Tasting - this is a chance to taste some unique spirits in a beautiful gallery garden on Canyon Road. Mind Body Spirits Yoga + Cocktails - led by my fave yoga instructor Emily Branden guests are treated to her class with a live cellist plus get a FREE yoga mat from our friends at Patron Tequila! The national brand ambassador will be sharing coffee mocktails, a Patron brunch cocktail, and breakfast pastries.

Chef & Shaker cocktail pairing dinner - only four seats left for this wonderful experience at the Coyote Den featuring the visiting brand ambassadors from Angel's Envy whiskey, Illegal Mezcal, Patron tequila and St. Germain liqueur.

We are one month out from the Cocktails & Culture Festival in Santa Fe! One of our new events is the VIP Spirits Tasting Garden Party on Canyon Road on June 1, 3-5 pm.

First, stroll through the four participating galleries along Canyon Road (see link for who they are!). Collect a stamp from each and receive a special gift when you arrive at the VIP Spirits Tasting at Neptune Event Space.

Also, every ticketed guest at the tasting party will get a 2024 Cocktails & Culture Poster featuring "Playing with Fire" by artist Deni Javas in honor of the 100th anniversary of Zozobra.

There are some lovely and interesting spirits to taste, and a lovely summer afternoon in the heart of the City Different.

I’m very pleased to have my Mr. Pickles gin drink included in this Forbes piece about that very topic.

Bonus: Mr. Pickles Gin is named after the distillery pup so these folks are my kind of people considering my cocktail book called Drinking With My Dog! It’s a delicious gin from the Pacific Northwest. Check it out.

I’m getting started early with my non-traditional breakfast tacos with veganaise & mustard, lettuce, eggs and red onion.

Tea for two at Los Poblanos is a must-do activity this summer!!

Sandwiches, cakes and tea made for a wonderful experience in an exquisite setting! And the attention to detail - even personalized menus - made it feel like a truly special occasion.

You must make reservations - I highly recommend doing so soon!

were great! I had 2 chicken and 2 veggie.

There are not enough hours in the day to enjoy tacos!

When TACO WARS Tuesday meets Edible Cocktails: Garden-to-Glass!

As readers of my book EDIBLE COCKTAILS know, just about anything used in cooking can be used in cocktails.

I just taught another Margarita Madness cocktail class and had leftover glass rimmer (salt, sugar, red Chile powder) which I used as seasoning for my chicken tacos today.

I think it’s the utter lack of gratitude to waste food so I love finding ways to use everything I buy… even leftover cocktail rimmer!

Plus, tying together a drink and dish with a common ingredient is an “insider tip” to creating perfect food-and-drink pairings.

I was so impressed when I visited Animal Humane New Mexico today. Any shelter is full of people who love animals and so their best to get them healthy, safe and placed in a home.

Also, the campus includes several buildings for admissions, adoptions, fostering, training and a vet clinic for the shelter animals and low income families.

The grounds are beautiful and has lots of original art. I LOVE this piece of two kitties playing. ❤️

Donate to your local shelter and give a kind word to the people working there. They deal with a lot of heart wrenching situations - they are doing the work of angels.

I can’t wait to expand my TACO WARS Takeovers to the ABQ and raise donations for this group! Are you on my list? The Liquid Muse Events go beyond Santa Fe…
