Heritage of Aloha Festival

Heritage of Aloha Festival Entry & parking is FREE! Admission and parking are FREE! Grant applications will be available at the Festival. Please join us and share your aloha!

A 2-day Polynesian festival the weekend following Mother’s Day, this annual event is located in Los Angeles featuring an outdoor marketplace, local food and continuous entertainment. Saturday May 21, 2016 from 10 am to 6 pm, and
Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 10 am to 5 pm

The Heritage of Aloha (HOA) Festival, a 2-day hoʻolauleʻa sponsored by the Hoʻoilina Foundation, benefits numerous non-profit orga

nizations, clubs and hālau in Southern California. It features a cultural marketplace, Polynesian food booths, an ʻukulele contest, a spam musubi eating contest and continuous live Hawaiian/Polynesian music and dance on a large outdoor stage in beautiful, historic Heritage Park. Proceeds from the festival will be awarded by the Hoʻoilina Foundation to selected community groups who apply for projects that perpetuate the Pacific Island culture. The Ho’oilina Foundation provides grants, scholarships and/or resource assistance to support groups and individuals of California who are continuing the Polynesian culture through art, music, dance, education and recreation.

The Ho’oilina Foundation and its volunteers are working as hard as your Tūtū prepares her house before your visit! Please NO COOLERS (support our food booths so we can keep this a free event) & NO PETS (for insurance/liability reasons). Tents & umbrellas are allowed only along the sidewalk perimeter in the stage area (for all to enjoy a clear view). Mahalo for your support! We look forward to welcoming all of our HOA on May 21 & 22, 2022!
