Our Story

CAMBRIA RALLY

Cambria was originally started by the NorCal Presidents as a way for New Triumph Bonneville owners and enthusiasts of all British motorcycles from both Northern and Southern California to meet each other in person. The chemistry and vibe for this incredible event has been laid back, fun and exciting. Events include a Friday and Saturday rides, catered dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings, the infamous bark off, an excellent live rock & roll band, prize giveaways from donors and most importantly - meeting up with new and old friends. The Cambria Rally traditionally takes place on the first weekend of August and ground zero for the event is the Cambria Palms Motel in Cambria, CA on California’s beautiful Central Coast region. Cambria was originally started by the NorCal Presidents as a way for New Hinckley Triumph Bonneville owners and enthusiasts of all British motorcycles from both Northern and Southern California (and West Coast) to meet each other in person. Events include the Friday “Dog Run” Hwy 1 ride and Bixby Bridge Meetup, Saturday group ride and lunch, prize drawings, showing off bikes and carousing each night in Cambria and around the famous fire pit in back of The Palms. Attendance does NOT require riding a Triumph Bonneville, but open to like-minded classic bikes, their fans and enthusiasts. Think of Ace Cafe or 59 Club - but we are not exclusive or closed to others - just join and keep with the spirit of the event. It is NOT racing, wheelies or Sturgis/Daytona, but a British classic bike "themed" event. Registration is required for attending the Cambria Rally and you can do that at:

This includes a rally pin, beverages at the Palms, entry into the prize drawings and group meals Friday and Saturday evenings. Please note that your registration does not cover the cost of any lodging and other meals (besides the catered Friday and Saturday dinners). You can also purchase an optional event T-shirt with your registration with design shared here:

If you are attending Cambria this year, you need to first find a place to stay. We have the rooms at the Cambria Palms Motel held for us. You can find information about the motel at:

To get a room during the rally Fri/Sat nights you MUST call them at (805) 927-4485 because when rooms are held for the rally they are not bookable via the website and let them know you are “with the motorcycle rally”. You can also find a list of other motels and campgrounds in or near Cambria via your favorite travel website, www.hipcamp.com or Google Maps.
