Chinese Dance Association at UCSD Bringing Chinese culture to the San Diego community through the art of dance. We practice Fri 9-11pm Be on the lookout for one this year!

Who We Are

Chinese Dance Association at UCSD is a non-profit dance team founded by students who wanted to perform Chinese traditional dance. Our group practices a variety of dances, from traditional forms to a fusion of Chinese and Western dance styles. Our members range from newcomers to experienced dancers, so we welcome all who are interested in dance. Through our performances, we hope to pro

mote greater diversity and appreciation of Chinese culture. What We Do

Members practice Chinese dances–often taught by officers, and we perform on campus as well as in San Diego. In the past year, we have performed for events including:

US Navy Diversity Event
UCSD CASA Annual Culture Show
UCSD Matsuri Festival
UCSD Asayake Taiko Show
UCSD MASA Night Market
UCSD Art Counts
Tet Lunar New Year Festival Stadium
& the Annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair
