Happy New Year everyone!

We have several out of this world events coming up this semester:

~March 7th: Kennedy Space Center trip interest meeting (will request funding based on number of people who show interest), paper discussion of modern space tech (paper to be posted a week in advance), ABAC t-shirt brainstorm, space movie brainstorm

~end of March: fundraiser space movie night at The Tavern (tentative)

~April 4th: paper discussion (to be posted a week in advance), discuss March for Science interest

~pre-April 14th: tie dye t-shirts, make signs for March for Science St. Pete

~April 14th: March for Science St. Pete

~pre-finals (end of April): telescope stargazing night at the beach (to alleviate some of that pre-finals stress)

~early-mid May: Kennedy Space Center Trip (will attempt to coincide with a Rocket Launch)

No need to comet to every event, come when you can whenever you can planet! We hope to see you there. Keep an eye out for Facebook Event updates with more information about each event!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our first meeting of the semester! Couldn't make it tonight? We'll be meeting the last Wed. of every month at 7:00pm at Hops and Props. Our next official meeting will be Oct. 25th - come and space out with us! Stay tuned for special events in addition to the monthly meetings, including our explosive outreach booth at the St. Pete Science Festival Sat., Oct. 21st!
