Do to our good friend Barnacle Bill's generous Go Fund me project. We feel obligated to fill everyone in on what's been happening as of late. While in storage at Green Cove Springs Cthulhu was looted and damaged by thieves and vandals. Tools and valuable equipment where lost, along with many irreplaceable pieces of the boat itself. Figuring the lawsuit to follow, and Cthulhu being in no shape to sail. The crew opted to restore another boat for the time being rather then live and work in the possably hostile environment in Greencove Springs.
While moving the new boat south, They where stalled out with mechanical difficulties and was blindsided by the winter storm Avery. When the Coast Guard came to their rescue and towed them into safe harbor and in port, the boat suffered damage to the prop, then the shaft. Our beautiful black dingy was crushed under the boat in the storm after waves washed it off the dock.
In the end Nikko and Darla lost tools, equipment, personal items and had to surrender the new project boat because the winter season made hauling and working on the boat stuck it its location impossible.
In order to help make this fundraiser a success we encourage you to share and click on the link. Or even donate as little a 5 dollars to help make this project trend. Even if you can't donate a lot to help, sharing and clicking links goes a long way in helping us make this a success. The proceeds of your donations will go to replacing equipment and getting the show back on track, a simple small boat for Nikko and Darla to restore, so they are not without their own home for the time being.
Thanks for all your support over the years- The Atlantic Coast Privateers!
