Due to the "lovely" weather we've had all day, we feel the need to cancel the Trunk or Treat we had scheduled for tomorrow. We have a lot of mud and debris on our property.

We are sorry to have to make this decision, but we'll all still be able to give out our goodies to kids on Halloween.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi, St Matthews. I'd love some feedback, please. Is anyone planning to come to the Oct 17 Barn Dance? I need honest replies. I don't think there is enough community interest, and it's too costly if the interest doesn't meet the effort. Please let me know by midnight so I can make a wise decision!
Thanks!

Let me re-introduce The Venue at Velilla Acres. Two years ago, we bought this gorgeous property, and we decided to have our son's wedding here. It turned out to be such a beautiful event that we wanted to offer others the chance to experience this peaceful setting for their main event!
We are Edmond and Linda Velilla [vuh-LEAH], and we would love to meet you, discuss your wedding ideas and provide a warm and inviting venue that makes your day special.
We have dates available in 2026 and beyond.
