At , The Hedge Empress and Tiw's Arm will host a Dísablót!

A Dísablót is an autumnal festival which traditionally focuses on honoring the dísir (female spirits) personal guardians, warrior goddesses and Valkyries that protect our families as well as the continuation of life. At VikingsCon, we will mix this traditional aspect with a focus on harvest and the changing of the days. We will invoke the Norse gods as offerings are given to them through rites and a ritual fire.

Attendees will have an opportunity before the ritual to write a petition that will be offered to the gods. During the blót, the petitions will be burned into the ritual fire so they may be received by the gods.
