March Mini-Pot Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share this heartbreaking news with you today.
Our precious Missy James gained her wings at 12:10am this morning after a long courageous fight against colon cancer.
Jesse and Madison need our support and prayers. Please lift them up in your prayers.

Jesse has been my wingman since the start of this fundraiser and Missy graciously let me take one weekend of her birthday month every year to support this cause! I am so grateful for them both. He has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for not only March Mini-Pot/Cooking for the Kids, but for many others in the parish.

Please let us come together and help this family out during this terribly difficult time. There are unforeseen expenses and much needed time off from work for both Jesse and Madison to process this tremendous loss.

Please find it in your heart to help a man who has helped many.

I CANNOT do this weekend without plenty help! I have the best people beside me making this weekend happen. You know who you are!

Lastly, we would not be successful without our loving, caring and supportive community that opens their hearts and wallets for this great cause!

This cowboy is my rock and keeps me going even when I get discouraged. He loves me unconditionally and always has the most patience (which can be difficult for him) during mini-pot weekend! He knows when I need a hug and when I just need to cry when work days are tough. We laugh together, we cry together and we grow stronger together through every joy, every challenge, and every moment in between! Chayland Templet I could not do this life without you! I’m so thankful for these two kiddos. They never complain during this weekend and are always ready to help and support me! They understand what it means to give to others and raise money for a worthy cause. They come up with their own individual ideas to support the cause. I’m so proud of them both.
