I will be attending the 38th annual Tejano Conjunto Festival in San Antonio Texas this week. I am excited but also thankful to Juan Tejeda lead faculty member of Mexican-American studies program at Palo Alto College, Texas for his vision to preserve and pass on the traditions of Conjunto music. This is
where I got my inspiration and idea to start a Tejano Festival here in Sacramento California. I want to honor all the past veteranos of Conjunto music and the future ones to come! Nos vemos pronto in San Anto!
