Maker Faire Rocklin A family-friendly festival celebrating invention, creativity and invention. Only "mini" in scale compared to Maker Faire Bay Area! Since 2010.

A Maker Faire is about celebrating learning and doing – not just the finished and perfect end product. It’s a place to show projects, share what we’re learning with others, and celebrate the fun and freedom of being an amateur. Featuring both established and emerging local “makers,” the Rocklin Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly celebration featuring rockets and robots, digital fabrication, DIY

science and technology, urban farming and sustainability, alternative energy, bicycles, unique hand-made crafts, music and local food, and educational workshops and installations. The Rocklin Mini Maker Faire follows the “big” Maker Faire model of celebrating invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, but is smaller in scale and will showcase the wonders of Placer and Sacramento counties and beyond!

Join us on Saturday, October 4 from 10 AM to 3 PM at Sierra College for a dynamic event where education and innovation come together: Maker Faire Rocklin + Sierra College Preview Day.

🔧 Maker Faire Rocklin celebrates its 8th year of showcasing incredible makers, inventors, engineers, artists, and creators. From rockets and robots to handcrafted art and solar-powered experiments, this is your chance to explore how things work—and meet the people who make them!

🎓 At the same time, Sierra College Preview Day invites prospective students and families to tour the campus, meet faculty and staff, and explore programs and pathways for the future.

Whether you're here to find your next big idea or your next academic step, you'll walk away inspired. This event is FREE to attend and open to all ages.
