🎄 TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!!! 🎄
We are so excited to celebrate with you all!

A few important reminders for tonight:

🚧 Road Closures
Roads will close at 4:30 PM, so please plan ahead and use alternate routes.

✨ Parade & Tree Lighting
We’ll kick off the evening with the Community Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00 PM, followed by the parade.

🧣 Dress Warm!
It’s going to be chilly—temperatures are expected to drop into the low 40s. Bundle up and don’t forget your blankets and chairs!

❄️ Giant Snow Globe Experience (2:00–6:00 PM)
Stop by the Community Christmas Tree to climb inside our giant snow globe, proudly sponsored by The Grotto.
A photographer will be on site to take your picture, and you’ll go home with a special keepsake photo.

🚻 Restrooms Along the Route
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Rio Linda Chamber of Commerce, Tummy’s, Riverview Realty One, and Rio Java, porta potties are available at the following locations:

2 at Papa Murphy’s (M St & Rio Linda Blvd)
2 at M Street & L Street
2 in the shopping center at Oak Lane & Curved Bridge Road

In addition, there are 4 porta potties located on the blacktop near the Rio Linda Elverta Teen Leadership Council & Youth Center, next to the library.

🎄 The BIG day is just a few days away and we are SO excited!! 🎄

Make sure to stop by the Community Christmas Tree between 2pm–6pm for a special treat! We’ll have a giant walk-in snow globe where you can climb inside and take magical holiday photos.

A professional photographer will be on-site to capture your moment, and you’ll get to take home a 4x6 photo as a keepsake—absolutely free!

We’ll be covering everything you need to know for parade day — check-ins, the parade route, expectations, and all the do’s and don’ts to ensure a smooth and magical night.

Please make sure at least one representative from your group attends.
