I have been fielding quite a few questions I would like to review here.
Parking: If you want to park next to someone you should plan to arrive together to ensure that happens. There is no overnight camping outside the park, in the right of ways and in general parking areas.
Please park, unload, unhitch and move your Modern tow vehicle to the designated parking area near the ball field in a timely fashion. Vintage Tow vehicles can remain with your trailer. This is field style camping on grass. Gates close at dusk so plan to get here before dark.
Fire Lane: We have a mandated fire lane that will be painted on the grass. Please DO NOT have any part of you trailer, canopy, pole, rope or anything at all in this area. If you do, We will ask you to move it and that may be a pain for you!
Power: New this year
There are 12 power boxes located in the camping area for 15 amp hookup. Please no electric space heaters! The system can quite handle that!
Water: This is always been a dry camping event. There are 2 water valves that can be used to refill water tanks that are located behind the baseball backdrop and next to the Gazebo. There are no permanent hookups.
Bathrooms: There are 3 bathrooms. Main bathrooms on the east side by the play area. Additional porta potties are located at the Main entry and at the flag poll.
A dumpster will be provided for garbage just outside the entryway.
Pets: Pets must be leashed at all times!
Fire Pits, Grills: Propane fire pits and grills are all that is allowed. NO OPEN FIRES or Charcoal grills!
Swap Meet: Set up your things at your trailer, but please do not encroach on other campers areas and please keep your footprint small.
The gates will close at dusk! Keep the “trailer glow” on all night if you wish, but be courteous to others after 10 PM!
