⚡ A little over a year ago, we had the opportunity to capture the grand opening of Spearheaders Leather Goods here in Roseburg.

One of my favorite parts of doing what we do at The Roseburg Plug is getting to watch the businesses we've helped spotlight continue to grow.

Starting a small business takes courage. Keeping those doors open, showing up every day, and continuing to build something you're passionate about takes even more.

It's awesome to see Spearheaders still doing their thing a year later!

Here's a little throwback to where it all started. 🎥

If you haven't checked them out yet, stop by Frontier Village Plaza in Roseburg and show some love to a local craftsman!

Local businesses are worth showing up for. ❤️

I'm incredibly grateful that we're able to be a sponsor of the Winston Area Food Pantry and play even a small role in helping our neighbors!

When I started The Roseburg Plug, I wanted to build something that did more than just promote businesses or create content. I wanted to build something that could genuinely make a difference in the communities we call home.

And opportunities like this are exactly what I had in mind.

There are people right here in Douglas County who could use a little extra help, and knowing that we can contribute to an organization working to meet those needs means a lot to me.

I'm thankful for the people behind the Winston Area Food Pantry, the volunteers, and all the other sponsors coming together to make this possible.

At the end of the day, community isn't just about where we live. It's about how we show up for each other. ❤️

Proud to be a part of this!!

🌱 A stronger community starts with neighbors helping neighbors!

We want to take a moment to recognize the incredible organizations and community partners helping make the Winston Area Food Pantry possible!

A huge thank you to The Roseburg Plug, The Roseburg Receiver, United Community Action Network, The Ford Family Foundation, Ray's Food Place, Feeding America, and the Winston Area Seniors for their support and commitment to our community. ❤️

Every partnership, every contribution, and every helping hand makes a difference. Together, we're working toward a community where no neighbor has to face food insecurity alone.

We're grateful to have such wonderful people and organizations standing alongside us.

Rooted in Winston. Growing together. 🌱

We’re all set up and ready to go! 🎥🎙️

The Roseburg Plug and The Roseburg Receiver are partnering with the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce to livestream today’s Candidates in Focus event from the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

This is a chance to hear directly from candidates seeking local office and learn more about where they stand on issues impacting business, community, and the future of our region.

We’re glad to help make conversations like this more accessible to people across Douglas County, whether you’re able to be in the room or watching from home!

A big thank you to the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce for bringing us in to help share today’s event with the community.

Stay tuned and join us live!

Had a great time today at The Abundancy Concept Small Business Workshop here in Roseburg!

There’s always something valuable about getting in a room with other local business owners, community leaders, and people who are working to strengthen small businesses in Douglas County.

I really enjoyed the conversations, the different perspectives, and getting a chance to keep learning and bringing new ideas back into what we’re building.

A huge thank you to CCD Business, Kemberly Farrell-Todd, the Umpqua Small Business Development Center - SBDC, Aaron Larsen, SOWIB - Southwestern Oregon Workforce Investment Board, Umpqua Community College, and everyone who helped put today’s event together. Opportunities like this are a great reminder of how many people and organizations are invested in seeing local businesses succeed.

Grateful I got to be a part of it!

First day of the Small Business Management program. 🙌

I’m really grateful to have opportunities like this to keep learning, growing, and getting better at what I do.

One thing I’ve learned pretty quickly in business is that there’s always more to learn. You never really reach a point where you know too much, and I’m thankful anytime I get the chance to add more tools, perspective, and education to what I’m building.

I was able to attend through a scholarship from The Ford Family Foundation after participating in the Umpqua GrowthTalks / SBDC Pitch Night, which makes the opportunity even more meaningful.

I’m excited to take what I learn throughout this program and bring it back into The Roseburg Plug, not just to build a better business, but to keep finding better ways to serve the businesses and community around me.

Still learning. Still building. Still just getting started!

Day one. ❤️
