THANK YOU to all the wonderful ATA folks who helped to make Taekwondo Safari II so successful!
Our special guest Senior Master Jordan Schreiber volunteered his time to teach an AWESOME side kick seminar AND a free private lesson for one of our new Legacy students before the tournament.
Chief Master Ki Seung Cho, Senior Master Tim Plaid, and Master Candidate Erin Lauraine all traveled from their home states just to be supportive of us!
Our regional Seniors, Senior Master Rusty Duer, Master Keegan Ireland, and Master Carson Clews, as always, provided so much support and worked their tails off judging, as did all the other school owners, and black belts who were judging and keeping score and time. We had a fairly large number of judges who couldn't make it because of illnesses, and everyone pitched in and worked that much harder to keep the tournament running smoothly. Thank you to the RTTL staff, Mrs. Sharon Pleu, Mrs. Kaitlyn Sipe, and Mrs. Amanda May for keeping us running smoothly throughout both days!
Mr. and Mrs. Sipe also came down a day early, and led a crew getting the tournament mats sorted out and cleaned, and the mat bags repaired!
Our families and students pitched in and worked hard as well! There were several people who were there from open of the doors to closing and packing up! Very special thanks to Carol Long and Tim Dizick, Keri Dillon, Holly and Rob Coulson, Kellie Fusco, Dawn and Greg Reneau, Heidi and Aaron Earlywine, Glenn Essig, Jim and Cynthia Rogers, Valarie and Larry Johns, Heather Olp; and to our students who pitched in and helped wherever there was a need!
A final thank you to my staff, Audrey Millard and Thompson Rogers, and to my very own Captain America, Steve Rogers. This would not have been possible without all of the HARD work you have put in!
