Kickin for a Cause Kickin for a Cause is a Kickball Tournament held during the Come See Me Festival. Renew our Community ROC is the managing agency of Safe Place York County.

Kickin for a Cause is a Kickball Tournament held during Gourmet Gardens at the Come See Me Festival in Rock Hill SC. The Tournament benefits Safe Place York County, a licensed entity of National Safe Place. The initiative was began by the Leadership York County Class of 2016 as their class project to provide the youth of York County a Safe Place when in crisis.

In 2016 the Leadership York County Class came up with holding a Kickball Tournament as a fundraiser for our project “Safe Place”. Needing a place to play, we approached Rock Hill Parks & Recreation and Tourism and they donated the at Cherry Park Softball Fields.
