Superhero Race Roanoke Family Promise of Greater Roanoke and HomeTrust Bank are hosting the Superhero Race for runners, walkers, kids, and dogs in partnership with GO Fest KAPOW! BAM!

WOW! Don your capes and be Superheroes for homeless families! Family Promise of Greater Roanoke and sponsor HomeTrust Bank present the third annual Superhero Race in conjunction with Roanoke’s GO Outside Festival. This year's race will be Saturday, October 17, 2015. Race day registration begins at 8:00 A.M. The Little Heroes Fun Run on the Reserve Avenue fields will be a perfect way to get double

the wear from your kids’ Halloween costumes. The Superhero 5K Fun Run/Walk -- starting and finishing on Reserve Avenue and run on the Roanoke River Greenway -- is for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, kids in strollers, and dogs. The after-race party will include a Parade of Heroes, live music, children’s activities, and prizes for creativity and enthusiasm. Stick around after the race & party for more outdoor adventures at the GO Outside Festival! Money raised during the Superhero Race will go to Family Promise of Greater Roanoke, giving families a home on the way home.
