2024 Senior Exhibition

Now that that show is over, here is a look at my senior show. Many hours of work and careful curation went into this final display. I hope you enjoy!

Artist Statement
“My work embodies a fun, eclectic vibe, inspired by the joy of mixing and matching colors, textures, and forms. It is the sense of playfulness with the table, the invitation for connection and conversation, that these functional pieces create that help to transform the dining experience into vibrant celebrations. These everyday objects can carry an artistic spirit, enriching our shared moments. The mundane aspects of everyday activity become inspiration for joy, allowing everyone to embrace their unique style and create memorable gatherings.”

Busy week ahead! In addition to my gallery reception this Friday, I will be at St. Croix Lutheran Academy bright and early for the Festival of Seasons Craft Fair on Saturday. The event will have 100+ vendors, a bake sale, raffle with prizes, live music, and more. Truly a fun way to spend your day, get in the holiday spirit, and get some early Christmas shopping done while supporting local artists.

Bandit has been “helping” me get everything ready. There will be tons of pottery to choose from, magnets, ornaments and gifts, as well as a total restock of spoon rings, earrings, and jewelry.

As a SCLA alum I am hoping to see old classmates, teammates, teachers, and friends. If you see me there stop by and say hi, I would love to see you!

“What’s Left? What’s Next?”

Opening day! The show runs until November 8th.

For friends and family, there will be a reception free and open to the public on November 8th from 4:00-8:00pm. There will be some light refreshments, art, friends to visit with, and of course I will be there and would love to see you :)

Almost halfway through my final semester! I have been hard at work making all kinds of pieces for my senior gallery exhibition. Here is a little sneak peek of some works that are part of the show 👀

This is an exciting week getting to set up all the pieces I have been working on for several weeks. Monday Oct. 21st is opening day, stay tuned for more details on how you can come check out the show!

A set of beautiful bowls made as a wedding gift for a very dear friend. I was luckily able to safely transport these through the airport from Minnesota to Alaska. 😅 She has since requested a set of matching plates which will be done soon, I am happy to hear that they get lots of use. 😊

Another couple of markets happening this week! First one happening tonight from 5 to 8 at the .and.nae flower market. Address is 15815 Elmcrest Ave N Hugo, MN. There will be food, flowers, music, and vendors. Another sale on Sunday at the Stillwater flea market 8-4, hope to see you there :)

Last minute kiln unloading last night before today’s sale!Am I the only one who is always down to the wire? 😅
Got everything cleaned up, wrapped, and ready to go. I am lucky to have such amazing help to get it all done.

Only a couple days away from BURBFEST- a summer art market and festival. I’ll be there this Saturday with a bunch of new inventory. Event is held at the newly renovated Moore Lake Park in Fridley.
There is no admission fee and all ages are welcome to attend.
