There are moments in this journey when I have to stop, take a deep breath, and remind myself why I do what I do. And then I watch these girls step onto a stage, carry themselves with confidence, represent their county, and chase their dreams, and suddenly, every late night, every stressful moment, every detail, and every ounce of hard work makes sense. 🥹❤️
I could not be prouder of Junior Miss Cleveland County, Alivia Nixon, and Miss Cleveland County, Leah Brewer! These two young ladies have represented Cleveland County beautifully, and watching them step onto the Arkansas State Fair stage has filled my heart with so much pride. Alivia, earning Overall Interview, Overall Onstage Conversation, and 2nd Runner-Up Overall, and Leah, making the Top 20, are accomplishments worth celebrating! 👑✨
But as their director, my pride goes so much deeper than awards, placements, crowns, or titles. I am proud of the young ladies they are becoming. I am proud of their courage to put themselves out there, their willingness to work hard, and their ability to walk into a room and represent something bigger than themselves. Those are the things that matter long after the lights go down and the crowns are put away.
People sometimes see the glitz, the gowns, the beautiful stage, and the excitement of pageant night, but they don’t always see what goes on behind the scenes. They don’t see the planning, the organizing, the decisions, the hours spent worrying over details, the desire to make everything special, or the heart that goes into making sure every contestant has an experience worth remembering.
That is why I continue to work so hard to put on an amazing Cleveland County pageant.
It’s not just about putting on a show. It’s about creating opportunities for young ladies to grow in confidence, develop their communication skills, build friendships, learn to believe in themselves, and discover that they are capable of so much more than they ever imagined.
It’s about creating memories they will carry for a lifetime. It’s about giving girls a stage where they feel seen, supported, and celebrated. It’s about teaching them that winning is wonderful, but character, kindness, perseverance, and how you treat others will always mean more than a title.
And if I can play even a small part in helping one young lady discover her worth, find her voice, or believe in herself a little more than she did before, then every single bit of hard work is worth it. ❤️
To Alivia and Leah, please know that your director is SO proud of you! You have represented Cleveland County with grace and determination, and I hope you always remember that your worth is not measured by a placement. The crowns you wear are special, but the young women you are becoming are even more special.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journeys. I will always cheer for you, celebrate your accomplishments, and pray that the doors opened through this experience lead you to wonderful things.
And to everyone who supports the Cleveland County Fair Pageant, thank you for believing in what we are trying to build. This pageant means so much to me, and I will continue to pour my heart into it because these girls deserve something special. 👑❤️
At the end of the day, I don’t just want to crown queens. I want to help build confident young women who know their worth, recognize their potential, and understand that they can accomplish amazing things.
That’s the heart behind the crown. That’s the reason behind the hard work. And that’s why I’ll keep showing up. ❤️👑
