Community Partner Spotlight: Bruka Theatre Of The Sierra, Inc 🎭

We’re thrilled to welcome back Brüka Theatre for their fifth year at the Lavender & Honey Fest! 💜🍯

Brüka hosts our Main Entertainment Stage each year, with our favorite emcee, the one and only Lavander Lounge Fairy Mary Bennett, and we couldn’t imagine the festival without them. Their annual children’s performance has become a festival favorite. This year's family-friendly opening performance will be The Sporkels League at 9:30 am—a fun-filled show the whole family can enjoy! 🎭✨

Since 1992, Brüka Theatre has been bringing innovative theatre to Northern Nevada and has been recognized as Reno’s “Best Theatre Company”. Their commitment to creativity, community, and the arts makes them a valued part of our festival family.

Show off your creativity at the Lavender & Honey Hat Contest! 🍯💜

Design and decorate a wearable hat or bonnet inspired by all things lavender and honey for a chance to win sweet prizes.

Open to all ages!
🐝 Youth Category (ages 1–12)
🐝 Teen & Adult Category (ages 13+)
🏆 Prizes awarded in both categories!

Judging will take place from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Bruka Entertainment Stage near the California Building.

Bring your most creative lavender & honey-themed hat and impress our panel of community judges. Entries will be scored on creativity, originality, and visual appeal.
Participation is free, but you must be present during judging to enter and claim your prize.
