Artown

Missed the Artown Community Mural in July? You can still see it! 🎨✈️

Created by 234 artists from our community, the Art of Aviation mural brings individual pieces together to create one incredible work celebrating aviation, innovation and the spirit of Northern Nevada. The mural is now on display at The Discovery, so you can still experience it up close and see how hundreds of individual contributions became one cohesive piece.

And while you’re there, make a day of it and explore The Discovery. With hands-on exhibits and plenty to discover, it’s absolutely worth the visit.

Artown doesn’t happen without the people who make it happen. 💙

Behind every performance, every event, and every unforgettable July moment are the volunteers who show up with a smile, lend a hand, and help create the welcoming experience our community knows and loves.

To all of our Artown volunteers: thank you for sharing your time, energy, and passion with us. Your dedication helps bring hundreds of arts experiences to life and keeps our festival connected to the community we serve.

We couldn’t do it without you.
