Recently, someone traveled from afar to attend Dance Me as part of the Artown Encore Series. When accommodation costs made the trip challenging, one of our community partners helped make it possible.

Before the show, she stopped by the Artown office with this beautiful bouquet as a thank you.

Moments like this remind us why accessibility matters. Artown's mission has always been to make the arts available to all, and we're grateful to help connect people with experiences that bring them to Reno from near and far. ✨

Congratulations to Artown graphic designer Ivette Valenzuela on being recognized as a 2026 Woman of Achievement by the Nevada Women's Fund✨

Behind the scenes, Ivette helps shape so much of the Artown experience through her creativity, vision, and dedication. From building the Artown brand visually to designing the iconic Little Book in both English and Spanish, her work touches every corner of the festival.

For the last month, our incredible graphic designer Ivette Valenzuela has spent countless late nights and dozens of hours bringing the Little Book to life: 130 pages with 600+ events in both English and Spanish!

What people see is the final product. What they don’t see are the revisions, formatting, translations, tiny details and heart poured into every page.

Since 2019, Ivette has been an amazing creative partner and we’re so grateful for her talent, patience and dedication. We can’t wait for everyone to finally see it! 🤍
