The Anniversary book which includes stories of people, places, and events from the past 50 years is available at City Hall, (Princeton, Wisconsin) and also will be available at the Princeton Flea Market for the remaining 3 weeks of the season (September 30, October 7 and 14th). Cost is only $20.00. Copies can also be sent through the mail if you wish.

Our Miss Princeton's and Ambassadors were a highlight of our parade. These young men and women participated in both our Thursday evening parade as well as the large parade on Sunday. Thank you to all of our young people who were part of our community event.

We previously posted the 1st and 2nd place winners of the Princeton Wisconsin's 175th Anniversary in 2023 parade, and were just able this week to catch up with representatives of the 3rd place winners. It was a tie for the 3rd place and those winners was Grandma Sandy's Learning Den and the Princeton Alumni group. The Alumni Float highlighted pictures of current and the former Princeton Schools as part of their float, and the Learning Den featured the 10'+ Uncle Sam which was a favorite of the parade goers.
Thank you to everyone who was part of the celebration which definitely made this a memorable weekend here in Princeton, Wisconsin.

The Princeton Wisconsin's 175th Anniversary in 2023 Sunday parade attendees were thrilled to see the large "Birthday Cake" going down the parade route on Sunday. Pulvermacher Enterprises Inc. created this three-tiered cake honoring the 175th Anniversary of Princeton as well as the "smaller cake" featuring their 69 years in business. With their entry also featuring the 1923 Model T car, the float was selected the first place winner. Valerie & Marabeth of Pulvermacher's were honored for this recognition.

We were pleased to announce the second place winner for the float category from Sunday's Anniversary Parade. National Exchange Bank of Princeton was selected as the second place float which highlighted the Theme of "Where Yesterday Meets Tomorrow" as well as the Color theme of Red, White & Blue. With the float noting "From Barter.....to Bitcom", they highlighted how banking has changed over the years. Connie & Morgan from National Exchange were at the bank on Friday when they were notified.

Thank you to all who came out and celebrated the 4 day celebration in Princeton last weekend. The Princeton Fire & Rescue Department was an important partner in the Celebration weekend. From helping with safety concerns and keeping the Celebration area contained, to monitoring the Saturday weather, and then entertaining with water fights on Sunday. Thank you to the men and women of the Fire department, Berlin EMS, and all emergencies groups for their behind the scenes work.

The 4-day celebration ended with a wonderful parade, great food, entertaining music, and lots of fun performers and activities in the park! Thank you for all the wonderful parade entries and to all who have posted pictures for all to enjoy. Also to the many individual groups and businesses who partnered with us to make a successful event. Details connected with set up, clean up, and safety were handled by the Public Works along with all the Emergency Services groups which was key to a successful event. Thank you.
