Vassar College's one and only circus troupe - the Barefoot Fireflies! Originally founded as a juggling club, we've expanded to include and spread love of general circus arts, including poi spinning, staff, hoop dance and diving, partner acro-balancing, diabolo, unicycle, stilts, double staves, tandem hoop, walking globe, and more! We're essentially a circus-themed teaching and learning community,

and you can catch us meeting and learning together during our "playtimes" on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-6. Anyone's welcome at any time to come play and learn with us!

WHAT TIME IS IT? Time for the our spring semester indoor show! Mark the date and set your CLOCKS for… THE BAREFOOT FIREFLIES EXPERIENCE THE UNRELENTING PASSAGE OF TIME!!! Come and watch our absolutely massive cast put on a timeless, once in a lifetime show that’s sure to wow and amaze! We’ll be in the Shiva at 8pm THIS Friday and Saturday (2/9 and 2/10)! WE DID A SHOW… in broad daylight?!

Thank you so much to everyone who showed up and cheered for us through all of the weird weather and plan changes! We are so happy to have gotten to do the show and give our seniors a toasty send-off :) And of course a massive thank you to our incredible leadership team and cast— every single spinner showed up to perform the show even with the last-minute time change and brought amazing energy ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Since the thunderstorm prevented us from performing our full show last night, we are rescheduling the fire show for TODAY (Sunday the 23rd) at 4pm!! This has been a rollercoaster of changes due to weather conditions, so thank you for bearing with us! Our wonderful cast has worked incredibly hard on this show, and we would love to showcase all of the time and energy they have put into it ❤️‍🔥
