Hello everyone! Just wanted to give you all an update on a few things...
First, we will be giving our website an overhaul over the next few weeks. It will serve as general information for the Festival moving forward, as well as correspondence between us and Bands, Vendors, Sponsors, etc. Ticket Sales will also only be available through our website. Our server is getting bogged down with tons of media, so rather than upgrading our server (because it costs extra money), we've decided to start utilizing our Socials more (because those are free). Moving forward, all Photo Albums will be posted to our Facebook, Videos to our YouTube Channel, etc. Special Promos will be ran via our Instagram and Exclusive Contests / Ticket Giveaways will ONLY happen on our X account or Threads (we haven't quite decided yet). Secondly, there will be a form available soon on our website for Bands to Submit their info for future consideration to play this Festival. In the past it's been more of a FCFS situation and things can get a little confusing and messy via email. This Form will allow us to stay better organized when booking the bands and help us w**d out bands / solo artists who are known for last minute cancellations. We had 4 this year...2 of them within a few hours of their set time and 1 of them was a no-call, no-show! The other gave us plenty of time to find a replacement. Either way, that really hurts this Festival and leaves us scrambling to fill the dead air. So we have to do what's right for this Festival in order to give the community a great quality show! No offense to anyone...this is strictly a business move. Only way to keep things fun and engaging for everyone is to keep things well organized and ensuring we have quality bands, vendors, and sponsors.
Thirdly...we hope to raise enough funds for next year to bring on a National Act. These funds will become available through a combination of Sponsorships, Vendors Fees, and Donations from the General Public (we cannot rely on merch or ticket sales). So if you want to see us grow, please consider becoming a Sponsor or becoming a Vendor. More information on those will be available on our website soon.
