There's nothing we love more than watching a creative vision come to life inside our historic walls. For our first installment of 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, we're looking back at how the visionary team at Nectar and Vessel completely transformed our 64-foot statement bar.

By layering local cranberries, wild hues of heirloom native corn, rich pomegranates, and striking red florals with warm gold accents, they built an absolute showstopper. It wasn't just decor; it was an immersive experience from start to finish.

There is something undeniably luxurious about sitting down at a beautifully styled table and finding a physical menu waiting for you. It instantly elevates the meal from standard event catering to a carefully curated dining experience.

Our advice? Get creative. Tuck it into a colorful napkin. Play with bold fonts or textures. Match it to your floral palette.

Before The Hawthorn hosted candlelit dinners and champagne toasts, this building was known as the "Scald House" for the legendary Frank Jones Brewery. In the late 1800s, it was a centerpiece of Portsmouth’s economy, where scalding hot rocks were used to sterilize oak ale barrels before they were shipped across the country.
