Ben is a highly skilled luthier and craftsman based in Hood River, OR, specializing in creating custom guitars and restoring vintage instruments with a blend of tradition and innovation. With a background in furniture design, graphic arts, and decades as a professional musician, Ben draws inspiration from icons like Chris Knutsen and Paul Bigsby to craft unique instruments that bring joy to their players. His passion for design and precision was further refined during his time at Mya Moe Ukuleles, where he mastered techniques that now inform his custom builds. Ben builds instruments to treasure for a lifetime.
