The annual St. Clair Offshore Boat Races are happening this weekend at the St. Clair Boardwalk located at 200 N. Riverside Ave! This festival has live music, pit displays, food and drinks, merchandise vendors and of course, offshore boat races! Bring your lawn chairs and come on down to St. Clair to enjoy the fun. Boat races will be held on Sunday from 12pm - 5pm. For event details, check out the following link:

As a reminder… the St. Clair River is closed during actual racing on Sunday. “In between” individual races, the river will be temporarily open.

Get ready, because the 2025 Blue Water Festival is just around the corner! This year’s Blue Water Festival will take place from Wednesday, July 9th to Saturday, July 12th in downtown Port Huron. There will be live music, bounce houses, food trucks, a petting zoo, a hotdog eating contest and more! It will certainly have something for everyone! Then, to cap off the festival on Saturday, will be the 101st Bayview Mackinac Sailboat Race from Port Huron to Mackinac Island.

The Blueways of St. Clair is happy to announce we will be hosting our first paddling event of the year on June 14, 2025 to celebrate River Day! Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a first-timer, this is a perfect way to explore some of our beautiful waterways, meet fellow paddlers and enjoy the great outdoors. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will meet at the Belle River Park kayak launch located at 1956 Belle River Road in East China Township. This event is totally free, however, participants must bring their own kayaks, lifejackets and paddles. Parking is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. For additional information and/or an application form, please contact MPC staff via phone at 810-989-6950 or via email at [email protected].

This is a family-friendly event — all ages and skill levels welcome! Come make a splash, soak up the sunshine and see your county from a whole new angle.
