Kiwanis Club of Pompano Beach-Westside Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. "People choose to make a difference."

The Kiwanis Club of Pompano Beach Westside has been active since 1933. Presently, our club consist of 22 active members. Our goal for 2017 is growing our club membership by inviting "Just One Under Ten." So, we are looking for energetic persons as well as those who are interested in making a difference. Our club's service projects focus on elementary schools in our community and we are visible in

Charles Drew and Markham with the Terrific Kids Program. We also partner with Blanche Ely High to support their Key Club.Other community projects include The Backpack Project, Hope Totes, Light Up MLK, Kiwanis Club Scholarships, Thanksgiving Baskets, Mc Donald's Gift Cards donations to local homeless students, Feed the Hungry at Bethel AME, Deerfield and Mt. Calvary Baptist, Pompano Beach Seafood Festival, The Kindergarten Book program and a community Tutorial Program. Our motto: "Serving the children of the world." Maya Angelou once said "To make a difference is not a matter of accident, a matter of casual occurrence of tides. Kiwanis makes a difference. We are Kiwanians not by accident; rather, we have chosen to make a difference... "one child and one community at a time."

The 2023 Pompano Beach Seafood Festival is less than a month away! Here is this year's band lineup that features a ton of local talent ready to hit the stage on April 21 - 23! 🎸

Since 1984, we have had the pleasure of supporting local charities in the City of Pompano Beach area. Thanks to all of our supporters we were able to contribute over $140,000 last year and will continue to donate the proceeds to the following charities this year:

• Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce
• Kiwanis Club of Pompano Beach Charitable Foundation, Inc.
