INTRODUCING CHALLENGE CAPS AT POWER ARMOR 2027!

The Wasteland is rough, and those of you who join us for our first year of the Power Armor Festival will have ways you can earn a challenge cap from the Festival!

Each year, we plan to release a limited-edition cap for that year. Collect the caps, save them, then use them for challenge caps when your around the campfire, or at the bar with friends! Challenge caps will be able to be earned for free by various means, such as donating to charity, winning a contest, outstanding cosplay, and more!

Only guests at the festival can collect these elusive, limited-edition caps for that year.

Vendor applications will open this June! To help you all prepare for your application, we remind everyone that our objective is to turn downtown Point Pleasant into a wasteland. As such, booths that look immersive will be given higher priority, choice, and placement over non-immersive booths. Lucky for us all, looking straight out of the wasteland isn't hard.

At the time of application, vendors do not yet need a wasteland-looking booth. However, for the festival itself, vendors will be required to have a wasteland-ready booth before being given their city permit to legally operate at the festival.

After what was years of behind-the-scenes work, and a few meetings with city officials, we broke the news Aug 2025 that we are working with the city of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to host a Post-Apocalypse festival celebrating our love of games such as Fallout! ☢️ Power Armor Festival 2027 - Immersive Camp Discord Meeting Jan 22nd, 2026 ☢️

The next planning meeting for the Power Armor Festival will focus on camping while at the festival and immersive camp options. In this meeting, we will outline our thoughts for the camp setting and welcome feedback and thoughts on how the camp will be organized and laid out.

We are excited to announce that we will have the Krodel Park campgrounds for guests to set up their own immersive camps at, as well as non-immersive camp options. Centrally located, the campgrounds are within walking distance of the festival. Krodel Park features several great immersive photo op locations for guests, including the historic Fort Randolph.

Not interested in camping? No problems, we will have announcements regarding our official host hotels early to mid 2026 and are already in contact with several options within a short distance of the festival.

☢️ Power Armor Festival 2027 - Community Progress Report ☢️

Hello Wastelanders! Already in 2026, we have had numerous positive, very optimistic communications and an in-person meeting with the amazing city officials of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who share our excitement for this festival.

Our plans for early 2026 are as follows: launch the Power Armor site, finalize and launch overnight camping, finalize and launch the festival map and layout, announce live entertainment, and finish guest bookings, finalizing plans to partner with 501c3 charities, announce an exclusive all-new nuclear-themed tour for the festival, and more.

All of this, while keeping the festival free and open to everyone in the wastelands.

Keep your Geiger counters primed, and watch out for radiation burn! We are counting down to seeing you at Power Armor 2027!
