It’s that time again. The Blackness Haunted House is getting ready for Fall-O-Ween Parade 2025! Yeah, it’s a little early, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared. For anyone who would like to participate as a walker, we are adding a zombie walk to the parade this year. Our hoard of zombies will be walking at the beginning of the parade.

We had lots of fun last year but we want to make it bigger and better every year. Anyone who would like to participate is welcome, including surrounding communities. There is no fee to participate, but you must submit an entry form. The link for entry is below.

Well folks, we got the permit for our Fall-O-Ween Parade/Zombie walk so it’s definitely on. So whether you’re leading the charge with your zombie stagger (swagger -see what we did there ….nevermind) or slaying (oops… we did it again) in your favorite freaky fit, get ready to have a spooktacular time! We don’t know if anyone will actually see this but we’ll be posting to try to help get the word out.
What if we said there is an event coming up in October for zombies? Unfortunately it’s not a 5k like we would like BUT it is a zombie walk as part of a Halloween parade. This will take place on Thursday, October 10. More details to come.

Dash from the Dead is a zombie survival 5k. It is sponsored by The Blackness Haunted House and is being held in Plainview. The beginning and end point will be The Blackness. You can participate as a runner and try to make it out alive without being infected with death. You can participate as one of the undead whose goal is to infect the runners with the zombie virus. Last but not least, if you're not much of a runner but you have goods or services you would like to display and sell, you can participate as a vendor. Price will depend on the type of participation. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Faith in Sharing House and PAWS Pet Adoption. For more information, click on the link below.
