On I had hoped to be sharing a beer with some of you at a local establishment. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has affected the way we live our lives. Our 2020 Charlotte Craft Beer Week had been pushed back to May to coincide with the North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival and the Untappd Festival. With both events being postponed, it is best to focus on what is important TODAY and that is . We like to think we were involved in 'starting the party' too from 2008 on but glad we had The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery kick off the new brewery scene here in Charlotte! Thanks Charlotte Beer for the mention and give him a follow to keep up with all that goes on in our beer scene!

A decade ago, the city had only 2 breweries, including OMB. Since then, places to get a beer in Charlotte have grown by the dozens, including NoDa Brewing, Triple C Brewing, Birdsong, Heist and more.
