Guess who got to dust off The Lab real early this Tuesday???
🫣...

Me!!! My full-time job had an in office day and I decided to add some joy to my peers day by baking them some delicious Carby Delights! We had VPs visiting from out of state, so they had the honor of picking the flavors they wanted to try.
Blueberry Lemon & Sweet Potato Pie won!!!
😊

I loved prepping my work area, the ingredients, and both batches! I LOVE the smell of freshly made dough so MUCH!

I am grateful I got to bake with joy in my heart today. My peers are happy! My job is done!

ANOTHER BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO LATHA! YOU DID THAT!!!

The news is out, we’re in the MICHELIN Guide!

Last night, LATHA was officially named a 2026 MICHELIN Guide Selected Restaurant in the inaugural American Southwest Guide.

LATHA was created to celebrate the foodways, stories and connections of the African diaspora—from Africa and the Caribbean to Brazil and the American South. To have that vision recognized on a global stage is an honor we’re still finding the words to fully express.

This belongs to every member of our team who brings LATHA to life, every partner and producer who has believed in what we’re building, and every guest who has gathered around our tables.

We are incredibly proud to represent Phoenix, our community and the flavors of the African diaspora in the MICHELIN Guide.

Flavor brought us here. Community made it possible. And this is only the beginning.

Thank you, Phoenix. We’re officially MICHELIN Guide Selected. ❤️

I am unfortunately announcing that Wud'n Spoon will be taking a break due to unforeseen circumstances.
I am needed in Los Angeles, California and do not know when I will be returning at the moment. I apologize for the inconvenience as I know many of you were getting excited to get your Carby Delights!
As soon as I am able to return back to Arizona, I promise to have a pop-up as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and supporting Wud'n Spoon.

Hey Carby Addicts, Heyyyyy...

Due to an unfortunate injury, the Lab will be closed from now until August or September.

Although I am saddened to take a break from baking, I look forward to returning once my doctor confirms my full recovery.

Please have the best Summer and make beautiful memories! I'll see you in the Fall!
