Established in 1987, Mancuso Show Management has produced over 350 consumer shows. The company produces quilting festivals nationally, many with an international scope. A highlight of each festival is its Merchants Mall providing a platform for hundreds of vendors to market and sell their products. An important part of Mancuso’s quilt festivals are the educational workshops and lectures presented

Behind every window is a story waiting to shine☀️

Inspired by the decorative wood paneling found on the facades of homes in the town of Szeged, Hungary artist Ildiko Polyak created her own house of sunshine for the 20 Perspectives quilt exhibit “Architecture: Edges.” These striking designs served a purpose beyond beauty, meant to protect the home and keep out the evil eye. The tiny central window symbolized God’s watchful eye over the household.

Through fabric and thread, Ildiko transformed this architectural tradition into a radiant quilt that celebrates both artistry and heritage. The warm colors and geometric patterns invite us to look closer and discover the meaning woven into every stitch!

Some gardens are planted with seeds & others are pieced together one stitch at a time🌼🧵🌿

While many gardens are bursting into bloom, quilters often find themselves cultivating gardens of a different kind this time of year, one made solely of fabric and thread. Are you currently stitching a floral masterpiece, planning a nature-inspired project, or tending to a garden quilt of your own?

The elegant traditional quilt pictured here, “Imaginary Garden” by Nechama Cox, was a fun challenge for the artist, giving her the chance to add embroidery and beading throughout her piece to help the various creatures sparkle and come to life.

Some days are made for celebrating creativity & the incredible things it inspires✨

Today is a celebration of imagination and the joy of making something uniquely your own. Few things capture the spirit of National Creativity Day quite like a quilt “Creative Energy” by artist Sheryl Gillilan. Creating a quilt is an exercise in creativity itself—choosing fabrics, experimenting with design, solving challenges, and transforming a vision into a work of art. Sheryl exemplifies that journey, showcasing the innovative thinking and artistic expression that make quilting such a dynamic art form.

Get ready to do a little dance…spots are still available in instructor Patricia Belyea’s virtual summer workshop💃🏻

By bringing her signature Inserted Curves technique to QuiltFest Virtual Summer Schoolhouse, our students will have the opportunity to make a lyrical quilt composition full of curves in “Dancing Xs” on Thursday, June 25th.

In her 6 hour workshop students will begin their projects by inserting two intersecting curved lines into a 12-inch square of fabric. Curves will then be designed and sewn flat to create movement and energy in the piece. By making six blocks in one color combination and six blocks in another, students will be able to arrange blocks into a striking checkerboard configuration.

Through Patricia’s clear, step-by-step teaching style, the class will be guided to stretch their creative muscles and build confidence with curved piecing. Don’t flutterby this post without taking a moment to admire Betsy Vinegrad’s beautiful work of art🦋

Inspired by a visit to a butterfly garden, Betsy captured the graceful movement of butterflies in all their varying shapes, sizes, and colors through layered and overlapping circles that mimic delicate butterfly wings. The symmetry and thoughtful color placement in “Flutterby” evoke the peaceful feeling of watching butterflies gently dance through the garden.

The quilt is an original design, machine pieced and machine quilted on a stationary machine, showcasing both technical precision and artistic beauty in every stitch!
