:⚠️:ANNOUNCEMENT:⚠️: After much care and consideration, we have decided to POSTPONE the BOLD WOMEN & BEER Festival due to the concerns, precautions, and uncertainty caused by COVID-19. This was not an easy decision, but one that we feel is in the best interest of our community at this moment. We do plan to reschedule this event for later this year and we promise we will be back, bigger, badder, and BOLDER than ever!! (SEE BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS)⁣

🍻Today, members of our Chapter gathered together to brew a beer in honor of at . “Hetty Reckless” is a Belgian Enkel beer, hopped with the Pink Boots Hop Blend (Loral, Azacca, El Dorado, Idaho Gen) from and is named after Amy Hester “Hetty” Reckless—an American Abolitionist who operated a safe house in Philadelphia and one of the original BOLD WOMEN of Philly. Look for this beer to be on tap in just a few weeks and let’s raise a pint to all of the badass women who are making history in their own ways—Cheers! 🍻 @ Triple Bottom Brewing Company

When we first set out to create this beer festival, we knew that we couldn’t do much else if we didn’t have a strong mission statement. It took 5 women less than 10 minutes to create what has now become our manifesta (not manifesto! we are feminine after all). ⁣
