The finish gets the attention, but the pour does the heavy lifting ⚒️🚧

Once that truck is on site, the whole crew shifts into a different gear. This is where experience shows. Getting the depth right, working the surface before it sets, keeping everything level while managing the pour rate. None of that happens by accident. Every step has to come together at the right time, and there’s very little room for error. The work that happens during the pour is what sets the foundation for the strength, durability, and appearance of the finished concrete!

Bring Your Child to Work Day looked a little different (and a lot more productive) at BP Concrete today 💪

Bruce brought his son Tristan along, and the two of them got to work getting a few projects knocked out. It’s always great to see the next generation getting a hands-on look at what we do—and Tristan definitely didn’t shy away from jumping in!

Tristan even helped create a sample pad using some brand new stamps that are now available to rent at BP Concrete Supply Shop👀

One of today’s projects was a back patio featuring:
• Pewter integral color
• Charcoal Tru Tique finish
• Heavy quarry stone seamless stamp
• Chiseled slate form liners for the steps and border face
• CS Guard 350 sealer

Just wrapped up this pool deck pour and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

We used a heavy quarry stone stamp from Walttools to give it that natural, high-end texture throughout the slab. The pool edge features a Z Poolform bullnose slate coping, finished with an Old Plank WB stain to really make the detail stand out.

The slab itself was poured with a mocha integral color, tying everything together with a rich, consistent finish.

Shoutout to JB Plumbing/HVAC & Construction Division for the opportunity to work on this job, and Walt Tools for the products used.
