Please wish Skye ‘Good Luck’ as she begins her Distinguised Young Women of PA Competition this morning. She will spend the next 2 days in Pittsburgh getting to know the other participants and having fun as well as volunteering. Then Saturday she will have an interview with the judges and then the live, on-stage competition will begin at 2:00 at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater.

The conference and meeting industry has been crushed this year and I send my best to all of my fellow Independent Planners, Hoteliers and CVB representatives. While I'm a girl whose glass is always half full, I've found myself needing to fill it up occasionally over the past few months.
